I am sending this testimonial for all of those people who think that fishermen are basically liars.This is what I was thinking when I first spoke with Randy on the telephone. Randy had so much enthusiasm toward fishing that I thoughthe was one of those TV commercials selling Ginsu Knifes. I was skeptical and needed more information.
After speaking with Randy, I spoke with my brother Vinnie who is a businessman from Vero Beach about Randy's claims to guaranteed great bass fishing. Vinnie madea call to a friend who is a saltwater fishing guide and the guide spoke very well of Randy. After hearing this, fate found Cindi and I bumping into Randy while he fueled his boat in Fellsmere. Randy showed even more enthusiasm in person for what he guaranteed to be great bass fishing. Randy had a top notch boat and well maintained fishing equipment. His love of fishing was infectious and the trip was booked.
At 0630 Cindi, Vinnie and I met Randy at the Stick Marsh Bait Shop and headed out to our "secret" fishing location. We were the first boat to arrive at this location and I had real reservations about it. I was familiar with the location and knew it did not get much attention from other fishermen. I could not believe Randy's scouting report which guaranteed great bass fishing. But it was too late to complain and I put my faith in Randy as we headed out to fish.
Within ten minutes of fishing, Vinnie and I had each boated some beautiful 4 to 5 lb. bass. Cindi had still not caught a fish. Randy's energy was focused at assuring each of us would catch fish. Within 10 more minutes, Randy had Cindi boating some great 5 pound bass.Then it happened. I hooked and landed a 7.2 pound bass which was this Massachusetts boy's biggest ever. But it was not over, within 30 minutes I hooked and landed a 9 pound bass. All told, on our half day trip, we boated 18 largemouth bass with the average size being in the 5 to 5.5 pound range. What a great day which we will remember for the rest of our lives.
If fisherman are liars then Randy is not a fisherman ... he is truly a Professional Fishing Guide. Randy promised us some of the best bass fishing and he delivered without a doubt. His energy and enthusiasm made this trip memorable. Helping people to catch great fish is what he did for us. Seeing other guides on the water later in the day and the lack of excitement on their boats made me glad we chose Randy to bring us fishing. We want to thank him for a great day on the water and providing us with some of the best fishing of our lives.

It's Bill Sobanik - the guy you took out on last Friday morning and caught the 9 and 7 pounders. Thanks again for a great morning, and for a fish almost twice as big as any I'd ever caught before. Also, thanks for the tip on where to go in Farm 13. We cleaned-up on Monday with the Zara Spooks there. My brother and I each caught 7 pounders, 6 pounders, and plenty of 5, 4, and 3 pounders. It only worked if you kept it going sid-to-side but barely going forward.
"I fished with guide Randy Sanders on 5/18/2001. That marsh looked all the same to me, but Randy was able to put me onto big fish. His equipment was top notch and his attitude was great. His advice about where to fish by ourselves on another day put us into more big fish, all with artificials. Who needs fish stories when you've got pictures of 9 and 7 pound bass?"
